A lot of exuberance here, catchy chorus, shouty vocals, crap lyrics, that sort of thing. All frightfully Jam which is of course a good thing but in this case there's something a bit disturbingly Good Charlotte creeping in around the corners and a couple of crap haircuts tarnishing the suave mod image. B-side "Laughing From The Sidelines" is forgettable and their name, being just a short step from The Real People, is appalling and demands ridicule. -Ian Martin, Feb.24.04
